Delivery & Pickup
At True North Woodwork Co., every piece is handcrafted to order and personally inspected before it leaves our shop. We currently serve customers throughout western and central Wisconsin, with delivery available to many surrounding areas.
Local Delivery
We personally deliver most of our furniture to help ensure it arrives safely and in the condition you expect.
Delivery charges are based on distance from our shop and will be clearly outlined in your quote before your order is placed.
Once your furniture is complete, we'll contact you to schedule a delivery date and time that works for both parties.
Delivery Includes
- Careful transportation of your furniture
- Placement inside your home on the main level when reasonably accessible
- Final inspection with you upon delivery
- Basic care and maintenance recommendations
Customer Responsibilities
Before placing your order, please ensure your furniture can safely fit through all:
- Entry doors
- Hallways
- Stairways
- Elevators
- Interior doorways
Furniture cannot be returned or refused because it will not fit through the intended access points.
If delivery requires unusual circumstances such as multiple flights of stairs, tight stairwells, hoisting, or special moving equipment, please let us know before production begins so we can determine the safest delivery method.
Inspection Upon Delivery
We ask that you inspect your furniture at the time of delivery.
If you notice any concerns related to transportation, please notify us before we leave so we can address them promptly.
Customer Pickup
You're welcome to pick up your furniture by appointment.
We'll assist with loading whenever possible; however, customers are responsible for bringing an appropriate vehicle and securing the furniture for transport.
Once furniture leaves our shop in a customer-owned vehicle, responsibility for transportation transfers to the customer.
Storage Policy
Because every piece is built specifically for its owner, we have limited storage space.
We'll contact you before beginning production to confirm you're ready to receive your furniture.
If your project is completed and delivery cannot be scheduled within 7 days of notification, storage fees may apply unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Shipping
At this time, True North Woodwork Co. primarily serves customers within driving distance and does not offer standard nationwide shipping.
If you're located outside our normal service area, please contact us. We're happy to discuss available delivery options or help coordinate freight shipping on a case-by-case basis.
